Properties: Technical product is a yellow liquid. Crystals may appear at room temperature. V. P. 4.53*10-5Pa(25º C), density d 4 1.21, B. P. 200º C(1.33Pa). Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvent such as kerosene, ethanol, acetone, xylene. It is stable in weak acidity and neutral mediums.
Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 to rats 2000mg/kg.
Uses: It is a broad-spectrum insect killer. Its effect can last for a long time. It has great power for killing mosquito, flies, cockroaches, bedbugs, etc. It can be formulated into aerosol insect killer, spray insect killer and window screening paint, etc. It also can be used to control parasites on the surface of animals, termites and wood-boring insects and as a preservative of wool.
Proposed Dosage: In aerosol, 0.1%-0.2% content can be formulated with tetramethrin as lethal agent.
